Josse Pyl, “Apparatus and Method for Writing with Electrical Signals”
25 February–28 February, 2016, Opening: Thursday, 25 February, 18:00
The works in the exhibition borrow strategies from the practices of the sculptor, the writer, the draughtsman, the inventor and the typographer. It reorganises these works in a syntax that explores the possible relation between writing and the body, the construction and understanding of language, the act of sketching and the materialisation of an idea, as well as the function of a machine and the visualisation of the mind.
